Typical Day Schedule
8-8:55: Light Breakfast
9-10: Dance
10:15-11:15: German language
11:30-12:30: Diction or aural skills (alternating)
12:30-1:30: Lunch- students will meet up with staff
1:30-1:50: Daily vocal technique group vocalese (each day a new master teacher leads)
1:50-4:50: Voice lessons, coachings, & practice time
5-6:20: Masterclass series (10 classes)
6:30-7:20: Dinner
7:30-10: Mainstage rehearsal

THE RSPA SAI classes include:
4 private voice lessons (2 per week)
3 private coachings (2 the 1st week of class, 1 the second)
German language classes with native instructors
Diction
Aural skills
Dance (styles including ballet, jazz, musical theatre, etc)
Group vocaleses with new master teachers
10 class masterclass series
Mainstage rehearsals
Career talks with seasoned professionals
Repertoire and Scene Assignments
Participants will receive their assigned repertoire scenes no later than April 15, 2026. These assignments will reflect each student’s designated primary track—Classical Voice or Musical Theatre—and will culminate in a public performance during the final week of the program.
In addition to scene work, students will have the opportunity to receive coaching on previously prepared solo repertoire. Select solos may also be featured in performances following the first week of the program.

Weekends are for discovery! Students will immerse themselves in the vibrant spirit of Berlin—exploring world-renowned sites like the Topography of Terror, Museum Island, and the iconic Brandenburg Gate. From scenic boat tours on the Spree River to relaxing afternoons in lush parks and sparkling lakes, Berlin offers endless ways to unwind and be inspired. Plus, you’ll have the chance to catch local theatre, music, and cultural events that bring the city to life.

MUSICAL THEATRE VS VOICE TRACK
One of the most unique aspects of our intensive is the ability to choose between two specialized tracks: Musical Theatre Voice or Classical Voice.
• Choosing a track means your primary repertoire and training will be focused on that particular style.
• Musical Theatre Track students will work on material and technique specific to musical theatre.
• Classical Track students will train in traditional vocal techniques and classical repertoire.
• Regardless of track, all students will take dance and acting classes.
• Students are not discouraged from exploring the other style—in fact, they are encouraged to sing a variety of repertoire.
• Your chosen track simply determines your main area of focus during the program.
On your application form, you will find two checkboxes; one with musical theatre voice and one with classical voice. You are only allowed to check off one of these boxes.
